Stephen Bolton, EMBA ’07

Stephen Bolton is President, CEO, & Head Coach of Libro Credit Union, based in London, ON.

His previous roles at Libro include Farm Loans Supervisor, Branch Manager, and Vice President of Sales & Service Delivery. Bolton started his career at Libro in 1988.

He is the Chair of the Board of the Canadian Credit Union Association, the national credit union industry organization; the Chair of Credit Unions of Ontario; a director of the London Economic Development Corporation; and a director on the London Chamber of Commerce Board. He previously served nine years on the Credential Financial Services Board and was a board member of Foundation Western from 2012-2014.

Bolton holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School. He is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Program through the Rotman School of Management, an Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada, a graduate of the Queen’s Executive Program and holds certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute.
