Brock Beer is the founder of Tee Time Auto Spa, a one-of-a-kind car detailing service tailored exclusively for members of private and semi-private country clubs. Beer saw an opportunity to serve an affluent clientele that values convenience, quality, and the prestige of on-site detailing. By operating directly at these clubs, Tee Time Auto Spa offers a seamless solution while members enjoy their time at the club.
What drew you to entrepreneurship?
I’ve always had a passion for cars, and over the years that passion grew into an interest in finding ways to turn it into something bigger. When I started golfing, I realized I could combine the two by bringing together the convenience golfers want with the attention to detail I’ve always had for cars. That combination sparked my entrepreneurial journey.
What problem are you solving, and what is your unique approach?
Tee Time Auto Spa solves the hassle of traditional detailing by operating right at the golf course while members play. Our unique approach recognizes that time is money for affluent customers, delivering premium convenience and an elevated golf experience.
How did you come across this problem, and why did it appeal to you?
I worked at traditional detail shops and always wondered how people could go without their vehicle all day. Then, while spending time at the golf course, I noticed cars sitting in the parking lot for 5–6 hours. That’s when I realized detailing during that window would be the perfect solution.
What are you hoping to accomplish for your start-up at the Western Accelerator?
At the Western Accelerator, I’m hoping to refine Tee Time Auto Spa’s business model, build credibility, and connect with mentors who can help me scale. My goal is to strengthen operations, prepare for franchising, and position the company for long-term growth.
What is the biggest lesson you've learned so far during your time at the Western Accelerator?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is that data drives decisions. Whether it’s pricing, marketing, or expansion, having real numbers to back up choices is what turns a good idea into a sustainable business.
