President's Challenge: Competition Rules

Eligibility and Competition Rules

Team and Venture Eligibility

  1. All participants must be currently enrolled full-time students, at Western or an affiliate, including students in undergraduate, Master's or PhD programs.
  2. A team should consist of two – four members and must represent at least two different faculties. (note: dual degree students are considered to represent two different faculties).
  3. At least one representative from each team must attend all information sessions and workshops that are part of the President's Challenge.

Intent to Compete

All applicants must submit their intent to compete by January 28th, 2024. You do not need to have an idea at this point, just a team identified eager to participate in the President's Challenge. Once received, a confirmation email will be sent to each team’s main contact.

More information on presentations and the format of final proposals will be communicated soon.
