Working with the stars has become a staple part of Ryan Ward-Williams’ career. Following his HBA in 2015, Ward-Williams has rubbed shoulders with a variety of celebrities through the digital branding company he created in 2010, Ultrabrand.com.

His latest project involved American record producer DJ Khaled’s furniture line titled ‘We The Best Home,’ named after his music label. Staying true to the artist’s style, the brand includes lion sculptures and golden thrones as part of its collection. “It’s so great to see DJ Khaled’s vision come to life,” said Ward-Williams.

Together with his business partner Remington Humphreys, Ward-Williams’ team oversaw everything from creative assets, social media branding and brand strategy consulting, to merchandising and eCommerce for We The Best Home.

“We are constantly welcoming the world’s most influential celebrities and brands into our portfolio and this is another exciting addition to the Ultrabrand collection,” said Ward-Williams.

It’s a collection that includes 21-year old Kylie Jenner, who was highlighted by Forbes as someone poised to be the youngest self-made billionaire. With an estimated worth of $900 million, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty has become a fashion guru with her cosmetic line.

Ward-Williams and Ultrabrand have been an integral part of that success and he has enjoyed watching the brand’s tremendous growth during the past three years. His initial foray with the venture was covered in the Spring 2016 edition of the Ivey Entrepreneurship Newsletter.

During his time at Ivey, Ward-Williams was recognized with the 2015 Paul Sabourin Award in Entrepreneurship, which is awarded to a full-time HBA student who personifies the spirit, passion, and drive necessary to become a successful entrepreneur.
